About Us

We are a well established Vintage China Hire business based in Surrey, specialising in all types of elegant vintage crockery to
make your event exceptional;. We differ from other hire companies because we specialise in trios consisting of matching tea cups, saucers and side plates,.  We have a large collection of teapots, coffee pots, milk & sugar bowls, tiered cake stands, large cake plates, jam & cream bowls and vintage spoons, cake knives & cake forks.

Whether you need just a few place settings of beautifully matched trios for a small and intimate tea party, or a larger selection of vintage china for Weddings, Baby Showers, or Afternoon Tea Parties, or any other form of special event, we are happy to discuss your requirements, large or small.

Price Guide

Terms and Conditions:

Payment

Settlement for all hired items is required, in full, 5 days before the date of  delivery.

A deposit is due on confirmation of the order and will be refunded after goods have been returned and checked off by a representative of Timeless-Tea China Hire and found to be satisfactory.
If the replacement cost of damaged or missing items exceeds the deposit, the hirer will be invoiced for the ‘cost to replace’ and will be legally required to pay any balance in full.

Amendments to an original order will only be accepted if the hire charge is paid for before delivery.
 

Hire Period

Length of Hire is considered to be 1-2 days but this will be clarified at the time of collection.
3-5 days will be charged at twice the rate; Payment to be made 5 days prior to delivery.

Collection

Delivery within a 10 mile radius from our base will be free of charge, outside of this a reasonable fee will be charged.

Goods returned to, but not the property of, Timeless-tea China Hire will be disposed of 28 days after receipt if still unclaimed.

Hired goods should be returned with teacups , milk jugs and teapots emptied of liquid and major food items removed from plates and tiered cake stands, please do not rinse as we have found this is when breakages can occur.  Larger size hires will incur an additional charge for washing up.  All items loaned out under this agreement remain the property of Timeless-Tea China Hire
 

Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will be charged at 50%. Cancellations received with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
 

Breakages

Breakages and shortages on return will be charged for at the current replacement price. Customer's goods cannot be accepted as replacement items.

Linen is susceptible to burns from cigarettes and if packed away wet may become completely ruined by mildew. Any cloths burnt, mildewed, torn or heavily stained will be charged at replacement cost; We reserve the right to charge for a replacement product of similar quality.

Any loss or damage to hired goods if collection and return is made from the premises of
Timeless-Tea China Hire is the responsibility of the hirer from the point they leave the property.

A £10 charge will be made for any storage boxes lost or damaged.
 

Responsibility

Timeless-Tea China Hire will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by use of the hire equipment and shall not be held responsible for consequential loss, expense proceedings, claims or expenses howsoever caused by or arising out of late or non-delivery, unsuitability, damage to persons or property or injury caused by any and all items hired.

By entering into a hire agreement with Timeless-Tea China Hire it is understood by all parties that you hereby agree to the above terms.
